I played it 2 years ago and couldn't believe how amazing it was, especially considering the entire game was made by one single person. Music, level design, assets etc. All one person. Heavily inspired by Metroid, Blaster Master, Castlevania etc. Bloodstained in the most recent Metroidvania game I completed, which I also highly recommend. Having played countless other Metroidvanias, I went in pretty skeptical since Kickstarted funded games have been notoriously underwhelming. This game is the real deal though and is extremely fun and well made.
