They know how to make half decent games/anime for a start. Pokemon completely lost the plot with 3D. More to the point a lot of gen 1 Pokemon are hideous. And I started with Red. I give a pass to ones that supposed to look disgusting like Muk or Weezing. The likes of Lee and Chan have no excuse and are awful. They are not even strong to make up for looking bad. Oh well design taste is more subjective. But what isn't is that fighters got much stronger starting with Blaziken onwards.
