I get that argument, but I guess where I disagree is that it's a systemic slant. I see no reason, based on the make-up and political leanings of our country as a whole, to think that the voters just aren't as keen on progressive policies as progressives think they are. And progressives constantly using strategies tailored to a false notion of popularity (rather than tailored to making them more appealing to a larger audience) is why progressives struggle to succeed so often. And furthermore, constantly blaming the system seems like the only strategy there is. Like, okay, the system is holding you down: how are you going to overcome that? What is your strategy for overcoming the systemic imbalance working against you? Oh, you're just going to do the same thing again and hope it works this time. Okay. --- Touch fuzzy. Get fuzzier.
