Napster was the ultimate service at its time for finding new songs for me, it defined what I would listen to all my life because I discovered new content un heard of at the time.

Add in some WinAmp with some fire themes and the ultimate Visualizer and you still cannot top this experience.

After the shutdown from Metallica and the Riaa i went to miRc, they pointed to Kazaa, but i was into everything, I was a teen with no money and back then believe it or not buying music was super niched and not much available and expensive i remember some cds going as high as 20 dollars back then, i mean you could easily walk into an FYEs Suncoast, Sam Goodys but their selection was really just mainstream music, think of what you would listen to on broadcast radio.

The greatest ultimate service IMHo was AudioGalaxy, then Supernova/mininova, etc but now you cant stop streaming its bigger than everyone and looking back at it now you can pull up any service and find everything youre looking for.

I made the purpose of legally buying all my old songs and deleting the old stuff and keep my library 95% legit, but still, last week I legit found my stack of old music cds from 20 years ago and going through some cds I didnt realize how much random songs I just tried to fit in one cd-r haha but I could legit still cannot Shazam some songs on some of them hahaha
