The culture still surprises me. We know where babies come from. We know how they're made. We know low cost ways to prevent it from happening, and people still have spawn they can't care for. Granted, some of that is mental: lonely women looking for someone to love them and thinking the kid will have to (sadly related to one of those), but unwanted pregnancy is not a problem of poverty, but ignorance and arrogance.

And I've lived in poverty. I expect that to eventually develop into the idea that some forward thinking can prevent unwanted costs you can't afford, if only out of the necessity to keep living costs down. What's cheaper, as $12 box of condoms that should last a month for anyone but a pair of nymphos, or a kid for 18 years plus 9 months (if not longer, kids are getting harder to kid out of the house at 18 these days)?

I'm not saying that less toxic gaming journalists would lead to less toxic gamers. I'm just saying there's no proof to the contrary.
