It's still contentious but the Green New Deal will happen within single-digit years at this rate. :) Just track the rate at which public approval for it has gone up, relative to how public approval went up for other things shortly before widespread adoption - gay marriage, even trans rights (we can see this happening now), and most recently race justice (after George Floyd murder) There are many reasons to be optimistic, amongst them the simple fact that we SHOULD be optimistic if there's still a chance to succeed as a species. --- proudclad LAYIN DOWN THE SMACK - Error1355 Christian Marxism actually makes sense.
