Its a solid pop-rock number, and the singer is very energetic. I think the ending goes on a little too long, which docked it some points, but its a lot of fun to listen to. 37. I dont really know much of Jepsens catalog except for, like, Call Me Maybe, which is fine I guess, but this song was a breath of fresh air. Nice production, nice beat, nice lyrics. The whole package is nice. One thing Ive learned through this topic is my idea of modern pop was a bit narrow and has expanded to make room for songs like this. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
