Is this not video game music then? IIRC there is weird eligibility with Love Live songs that Im not privy to. Anyway, this is another idol pop song. The positives I said about the prior songs apply: the big selling point for me is honestly the vocal layering, which might be a strange thing to gravitate toward, but it feels like settling in with a nice warm blanket. Love Live gets a lot of crap from folks (maybe its just a few very vocal folks) but I enjoy this song! 73. I can normally take or leave songs like this, but the singer has a lot of emotion, and there are some nice glitchy flourishes I enjoy. Its interesting that the elements of successful pop are very similar between different cultures; with English vocals, this could easily be on American top 40 radio. I also laughed at 2:20.
