It's really good. For this game. For one game in the franchise. It shouldn't be the norm. In general my feeling towards many of Three Houses' systems is that they work well as a one-off thing apart from the franchise's standards. Sorta like a Gaiden game really. The monastary can be obnoxious, but contained to this one entry I've never minded it.
