wow nfun likes tong nou music who couldve seen this coming

this song is... somebody I showed it to referred to it as 'sound nostalgia'. I'm not sure if he meant the song just sounds nostalgic, or if it reminds him of he heard in the past. I think it being a little ambiguous fits. It's sound nostalgia. That is what this song is. That is what it makes me feel. Nostalgia for experiences I didn't experience. Haunting, mysterious, both natural and occult. A lush virgin jungle, ancient and primordial, untouched by human hands yet containing unknown stone ruins. An endless steppe, effulgent by the illumination of a perpetual golden sunset, with hallucigenic apparitions and visual warping and inexplicable, glowing motes breaking the maddening, enlightening monotony of the plain. A fucking giant green head that's a also an island whose ear you can go into. It's tranquil, calming, relaxing, hypnotizing. There's tension, apocrypha, but you are lulled back into passivity. Unexplained calls echo around you... and then that MELODY returns. God. I think on first inspection the Tong-Nou theme would appear weirder to most people, but it doesn't put me in some weird-ass headspace like this one does. This is more deceptive in its peacefulness. Good nom. Thanks for introducing me to this game
