I enjoy the buildup to a mini-climax starting at 1:17, and the lowkey breakdown that follows. A surprisingly welcome nomination 85./121. Armored Core Verdict Day - Dirty Worker Nominator: Thomas 8.9 (8.4/1) https://youtu.be/4jthXb99iZk The first forty seconds or so are, I don't know if it's strictly dissonant but the vocals and instruments certainly *clash*. Too raw. Afterwards it's still sometimes mixed weirdly or there's too much going on, with the caveat that it sounds good... which, now that I think about it, is a pretty consistent feature in Armored Core 5 songs. The vocals in the last third are great and carry some emotion; if only they'd cut through the music more, they'd have a larger impact --- Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination ...
