Some brokerages will consolidate 1099-B information, but sometimes you end up with a distinct 1099-B for every sale of stock you made that year. When I have to pull up the income documents on someone's account it is such a nightmare and takes such a long time when there are 200+ forms for the system to sort through, and it's usually a day trader type of situation.
