Topic	Today's Nintendo direct really showed a big problem with modern Nintendo

It was simply getting to the point where if Awakening didn't perform well, the series was getting canned. And luckily it did and they knew where to go from there From a purely pragmatic standpoint, they should probably just sell IPs that aren't doing well, or at least license them out to third parties. Third parties would probably do better with them Nintendo is just fucking weird about this stuff.
