Touhou music is very stylized, which is good in that having an identity and soundtrack cohesion is good and it allows ZUN to focus more on composition as he has to worry less about instrumentation and arrangement, but Touhou music is usually so egregiously self-consistent that it's a parody of itself and sounds like the same song. This manages to straddle the line and has its cake while eating it too

I thought the GSC soundtracks were mostly misses for me, but now that I think about it, there are quite a few songs I like. Ice Cave, Radio Center and now this. Honestly, I don't even know why I thought that. Probably a combination of it being pushed too hard out of nostalgia and my thinking National Park is overrated. :40 is really good. The Gen 1 battle theme callback into the sudden drama was cool. And after that is really good too. ok this song kind of kicks ass
