I disagree with his views about landlords, but at the same time I live in a state where laws favor tennants and I've had 3 really good landlords and only 1 bad one (and he was only bad because he was a cokehead who mismanaged his business and property and also he had issues with my roommates, which reflected poorly on me, but did not have issues with me personally. No pets allowed and no smoking, but they both had cats and chain smoked inside daily... plus one of them punched holes in walls, although he had worked as a contractor previously and fixed the holes himself properly and repainted before we moved out).
