His full position is 10k forgiveness, making community college free for everyone, and making 4 year colleges free for any family making under 125k. He appears to prefer to do it through legislation he signs into law rather than executive order. All good things, but as you and others rightly point out, he doesn't really have a good reason for capping it at 10k other than going "nuh uh don't want to". I'd say his plan is "good" but not great and the democratic leadership is already behind the great plan. 50k would provide so much relief for so many families and 10k likely won't help as much. --- Moops?
