Both do some things better than the other, but the ability to play wide empires makes VI more enjoyable to me. IV with expansions is better than both anyway. Not that it matters to you since V and earlier aren't on consoles. That said, it's only worth playing with the expansions (R&F and GS, the New Frontier Pack is fun but not necessary), but so was V. --- Cel Damage!
