Imo white people as a class have always had more privilege relative to other races than men as a class have had relative to women. Being white still gives them a ridiculous advantage over being any other race in most situations where race is a factor.
As a dude I feel like I'm expected to go through all of the male hasssles regarding bullshit masculinity, lack of emotional support, always being ready for a fight, being shit on for my height/small frame, having to beg like a hound to ever get a date, etc. only to barely get any of the goodies that the men of the past got.
Like the only benefit of being a dude that I really get use out of is having more porn targeted towards me (I'm minimum wage, so the wage gap is irrelevant, I'm awkward and passive so men getting to be more aggressive/studly/etc. is irrelevant, and so on). It's annoying. Like ok reduce my male privilege, whatever's left of it, but don't still give me all the shit that a guy from the 70s had to deal with despite that.
I think the idea that you can fall in love in any situation is a male invention that mostly caters to men
