Gosh you have no idea how much that means to me as a huge Sabbath fan lol my goal with that was really just forcing my fingers to play and stretch out and do all these sort of gymnastics and seeing where the stutters were. Playing through awkward moments and REALLY trying to visualize words (indiscriminate of which ones, I just wanted to see a sentence of frazzled shapes and words and seeing how many I could) as the riffs I wanted to say. Was also trying SO HARD to like go against my nature of like.. having a riff land where it's supposed to? It's hard to explain >_> like if the rhythm is 1234 I would try to land -1234 and then next time --1234 Would have my fingers comfortable doing a lick and then just abruptly try to force it to another section all wonky like, that was what the stuff I had in my body made me feel like anyways so I gave it a go. More piano stuff nowadays, yeah -- of course I still pick up my guitar but I've been really trying to take the time to figure out how chords are actually built and how the fundementals of piano can be translated in terms of the physical approach and the musical one.
