I live in a rural town in a neighborhood that's very out of the way (and hard to find without a map since we are smack dab in the middle of three lakes and a nature conservation). But we are still only 40 minutes away from a major city. But it's still an HOA neighborhood, so while the region is rural, the neighborhood itself is suburban. I'm saving up to buy some acreage of land further out for my wife, me, and the pups and cats. Most of the things we do for fun anyways are either nature-related or virtual, so the lifestyle doesn't bother us. I've always hated city life. --- Congratulations!
