Dude, just drive slow. Brake early and brake often. It isn't that complicated to not drive stupid. If you've driven in very heavy rain then that's a decent starting point for understanding how the roads will feel. I mean, obviously the roads will be worse than during a thunderstorm, but it's something I'm sure you can relate to.

I mean, yeah you can get really good at driving in the snow. Like doing donuts in a huge snow covered parking lot is a ton of fun. I used to pull my e brake going around turns when the roads were empty at night. Making your car fishtail can be pretty fun too.

The point is that driving safe should just be common sense. Start slow and increase speed until you no longer feel in control. It can be more complicated than that, but it really doesn't need to be.

I'm worried about other people more then myself. Also you know that common sense isn't really that common. But yes people can learn to do donuts and stuff, you deal with it all the time so I'm sure you and everyone that lives up there is experienced in it. Down here is a different story and to expect peope to just know how is silly. People do have basic knowledge of what to do if your fish tailing and stuff but actually experience things and doing it in the moment is different then learning about it. Not to mention people will panic once they feel they are losing control. I just dont think you understand the difference of being experienced in it and knowing how it feels and just experiencing it for the first time or trying to remember from years ago when it happened.
