| Damn_Underscore 02/13/21 12:34:24 PM #27: | The difference between France and the US basically is that Americans generally make a lot more money than people in France do but France has a lot better social programs, including a lot more automatic days off (which is partly why they don't make as much). This is true in other countries too but France is the most prominent example I can think of with their RTT and 35 hour work weeks. Different people want different things, so it's pretty stupid to say "America is a third world country" because it isn't perfect in your view or because there are other countries you like more. --- I try to laugh about it, hiding the tears in my eyes. ...
