Similarly, if you watch 200+ episodes of Nozawa voicing Goku, then other voices will sound wrong to you. When someone gets used to something, a massive change will feel wrong, so they'll say whatever they're used to is correct or better. Veggeta X posted... Meanwhile, you look at the few and far between anime series which star actual adults, like Promare and I'm sure at least a few others but it's really late right now, have main characters who sound like adults. There's no "trend" to have a main character who's an adult sound like a kid. It only happened in DBZ because she voiced him while he was a kid in Dragon Ball, and when he grew up in Dragon Ball Z they decided not to change the voice actor. Tyranthraxus posted...
