I think it would be a shame to miss out on the game because of that. Edit: For the "press rapidly" in Karaoke, you have to press the given button/key rapidly within that section. So if it's X, start pressing it right as the cursor lines up with the beginning of that section and keep pressing it until right at the end of the section.
