It's a Square Enix game, so there's a set of SE fanboys that will call it the best game on the switch by default, and a set of SE fanboys that say it's trash by default because they only want to play on Sony consoles and they're butthurt about missing it. It's an RPG on the Switch, so there's overlap with Xenoblade players. RPG fans that like Nintendo overrate the shit out of it so they can say the best rpg of all time is Nintendo exclusive. Some of those people despise Octopath for being inferior to "the best rpg ever," and some love it so they can claim the Switch is a great rpg console in general. Then there are Bravely Default fanboys, some of which hate that a similar game is getting focus they want their series to have, some are happy to at least have something that's similar. --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge.
