The more you believe that everyone is fake smiling with you, the further you get away from the reality that not everything is hopeless. A lot of stuff is, sure. But not everything. So you just focus on whatever is in the not everything section. Eventually it feels like the dumb thing to do is think yourself into depression and you realize logically you should just choose to focus on the upside so that you can make the most out of your time. And that's where the ability to control your mind plays into it. Just figure out how to choose your channel.
