It is curious that when we fucked around in Southeast Asia, a narcotic originating there floods the streets. Reagan fucks around in Latin America and the drug originating there (coke) floods the streets. As for AIDS Reagan defined it as a "gay disease" and once that decision was made, I don't believe he cared that much afterwards. For a time, like Trump did with Fauci, he forbade his surgeon general to even talk about it.
