In an earlier interview, they said it was more about the movie and games being licensed by different companies and trying to secure the likeness of all the actors. By the time they were working on this, EA already made a Goldeneye "spinoff" for PS2 and xbox without issue. Activision's remake also ended up on PS3 and 360. Nintendo don't own shit. ...
