They have given him credit before, and repeated over and over during the election he had the right to ask for recounts and stuff of that matter. They have given him credit for Operation Warp Speed too. However because Trump is so stupid and is always saying and doing questionable or downright dumb shit they report it and because he does more of that than good stuff it comes off as them hating him, but really they are just reporting what he says/does.
