Oh, my bad. (Not asking this judgmentally) are you under the age of 20? I'm in my late 20s and the whole "dingo ate my baby" thing was still a punchline when I was a very young kid, but I assumed it's phased out of the popular consciousness at this point.

The tl;dr is that a two month old baby was (likely) dragged away by a dingo while her parents were camping, the parents were dragged through the mud by the Australian courts and media, the mother was falsely imprisoned for three years, and the government paid her 1.3million dollars on release (which, iirc didn't even begin to cover legal fees, emotional duress, or damage to her future employment). It's still a punchline in some circles and a lot of people think that she killed her baby/mock her for her claim that a dingo (which is like a wild Australian dog) killed her child.
