Maybe not when it was week to week, but now when you can just binge it, yeah, it's awesome, imoI always point out that Korra showed character development in about 4 episodes of the first season alone. She goes from, "I can do anything I want because I'm the Avatar" to "Holy shit, Amon could wreck my shit and I'm absolutely terrified." I've said this before and I'll say it again. The writers took a girl whose entire life was built around the vision of being the Avatar and presented her to a world that shit on that vision. All of her villains were twisted interpretations of core aspects of the Avatar duties. They challenged her in unique ways and broke her down. And they have a lasting effect on her as seen in one of my favorite character driven episodes of all time, "Korra Alone". EoS Korra is drastically different from BoS Korra. --- The War on Christmas begins now, comrades! Load up the Acai refreshers! Cash the Soros checks!
