Ooh, another case in point.

Today, my secret online group shared a tweet that said, "Rosa Parks should've just started her own bus company".

At first, I thought it was meant as a cringe-y joke but then upon further investigation, I learned that this was an unironic and serious comparison between Twitter and current climate of "conservative" censorship with the fight for basic civil liberties.

And then I realized, you must be incredibly detached from reality to believe such a thing. These people aren't stupid. In fact, they're quite intelligent. But they've become so entangled in this false reality that I fear there's truly no reaching people this far gone.
