Senate issued subpoenas, demanding that the supervisors hand over all machines and ballots in Maricopa County so an audit can be done.

The supervisors eventually agreed after initial refusal, but on the condition that they choose the people who do the audit...it's basically a bullshit smoke-and-mirrors audit, all that they're doing is checking if the machine hardware is working correctly. They're not examining any ballots. Those people aren't certified to do audits anyway

Senate has chosen their own people to do the audit, but the board refuses to grant them access and will not hand over any machines or ballots. Now the senate drafted a resolution to hold them in contempt and the police could be sent over on Monday.

Why the fuck is the board fighting against this? They say the election went smoothly but they're desperate to keep people away from the ballots and machines. If there are no illegal votes then what problem would they have just letting people come in to inspect the ballots to check that they are legit?
