So I just found out that my long-lost uncle that I recently started talking to on facebook got arrested about 12 years ago for beating the crap out of his 2-month year old baby (multiple times) because he was jealous of the attention that the baby got. Luckily he was banned from ever seeing his son again. My uncle would do things like headbutt him, pluck out his eye lashes, twist his testicles, try to suffocate him with a pillow, and just generally beat him up. Finding out this information has really made me rethink my relationship with him. If one of your close family members did that, would you ever forgive them?
