Regardless of outcome if your intent is one thing you can still be charged. Are you saying the people who specifically said they were going to overturn an election were lying?
B) They DID accomplish quite a bit - look at the delay, militarization, and fall out.
C) BLM protests got numerous statues taken down, streets renamed, confederate flags removed, etc.

Oh please. Nobody was gonna murder anyone. Either way, as bad as it is, so did CHOP, so did the BLM protests, etc. People that organize that stuff get outta control. Why should the location matter? Its bad no matter what you are fighting for but we even have a word for it: mob mentality.
