Been a minutes since I saw the movie but I could have sworn it was implied that she was Wanda but because she was still so young (prepubescent) she didnt have powers and no one could have know about it.

i think it was the rogue cut that established the second sister. so, i think the original version might have been written for the younger girl to be Wanda, but at some point they remembered that they were supposed to be twins, so they wrote in a fix.
I don't think the little girl was ever supposed to be Wanda. Wanda was not allowed to be mentioned in the Fox movies per the AoU/DoFP deal.

They just expanded it on in the Rogue Cut. When Wolverine, Professor X and Beast enter their home, the little girl goes up to Wolverine and says she's a princess and he's like "I'm the Wolverine" and then asks her where her brother is and she tells him.

Then the mom tells her to go bug her sister upstairs, so she responds by saying her sister is the one that bugs her.

So Spider Man Far From Home teased the multiverse thing, and WandaVision pretty much confirms it now with X-Men Quicksilver, and then of course Loki coming up which will go all in on that

p cool
I think you missed the ending of Far From Home. Everything Mysterio said about the multiverse was made up bullshit. The JJJ at the end was just the JJJ from the MCU.

Interestingly, Far From Home takes place 8 months after the Blip. This takes place about 3 weeks after. A lot of stuff probably happens in that 7 months including the reason for the Fury swap and Fury on some Skrull ship.
