I hang out in a secret online chat with a bunch of alt-right dudes and it's taken me this long to realize just how delicate and melodramatic they are as a bunch.

For example, a WWE star came out as transgender and then it was basically, "Welp, this is a sign of the end of days".

It's a constant surveillance for the supposed decay of society and cultural norms which is then interpreted to mean the incoming fall of society.

Even worse, covid and Biden winning has been really, really hard on them.

I think next time we think about the alt-right, we have to remember that to them, this is really how they view the world. The fear is genuine. Imagine waking up every day and truly believing that the world is gonna end because a WWE star is transgender.
