Technically, you could say that anyone who doesn't work from home is a front line worker. If you are not working from home, you are likely in contact with a lot of people each day. I thought the vaccine distribution was supposed to prioritize certain groups first but it seems like that isn't the case. I don't expect to receive it until early summer.
if you deal directly with people in a business/job that is essential then you're considered a front line worker. for instance, a cashier at a grocery store. if you're an office worker, even if you still come into the office, its not considered a front line position. theoretically it could be considered an essential position though, and i think those are able to get the vaccine too.
