Right. And games should have more moment to moment variances in gameplay where someone enters a firefight with a full magazine and one with 1/3rd left. I think moments like that would create interesting dynamics much needed in a genre that hasn't had a lot of innovation in years.

See this post for reasons why this should be in more video games. Every FPS using the exact same concepts for no reason is stale. You shouldn't want things to be stale for absolutely no reason

And continuing to hide behind "Well it's not supposed to be realistic" isn't an argument. It's a line in the sand they cross it a moments notice. If you don't like it that's fine, but what you're arguing isn't logical.
