Topic	How bad is Detroit REALLY? I never been there

What those stories tend to leave out, though, is that many of those homes (and some are sold for even less, like in the hundreds) is that they often have tens of thousands of dollars of unpaid property taxes (and possibly other fees). Detroit's riverfront is nice and could be better. Many efforts have been made to revitalize the city. Corruption is one reason for the failure. System issues are also a factor.
