Bought stock A/Sold stock A - Gain Bought stock A/Sold stock A again a week later - Gain Bought stock A friday/Sold stock A today - Loss Would the third buy/sell at a loss qualify to offset the gains taxes from the first to buy/sell instances? I know there is a wait 30 days situation where if you buy again it will not offset, but I do not know if previous buy/sell instances will disqualify the final buy/sell loss from offsetting the previous I hope I worded that okay idfk --- Instagig ...
