| Darmik 02/01/21 12:03:58 AM #108: | A lot of this reminds me of when a whole bunch of people were buying Bitcoin in late 2017, likely lost a bunch of money hoping to get on the train that had already left the station. Investing in your future is a great, great idea and ideally this story has got a lot of people more interested. But it's gotta be a long term thing. Especially if you're only investing small amounts at a time. I really should have listened to my economics teacher more though. I always remember him asking the class what the biggest investment our parents made. Most of us said house or car. He said anyone who has done that is poor. This sort of stuff proves him right I think. It is a bit funny to think that some dude with a few million to invest can easily make more than me with barely any effort.
