I tend to drink less when i'm with the gf. I only drink if she does, and she doesn't always want to drink so I figure that's how i'll eventually phase it out. You have a mentality of not wanting to be the drunk one when you two are together. Yeah that will help you quit later on. It's going to be a little harder for me since my wife tokes so much she doesn't say much about my drinking. Only time she cares is when I'm too drunk to get take out for her.
