People are always making a stink when someone makes a farewell closing my account topic so he didn't and people are still mad

He made a comment in our drinking topic that he's sick and tired of being tired all the time, no matter how much rest he got. Then he just left with nothing else and no context. I'm not mad, i'm concerned, and leaving it open ended and then not saying a word is frustrating because that was a bit of an ominous post and I don't know what it meant. I don't expect some big hurrah, but at least saying something like "i'm stepping away for a while" is better than sitting here wondering and not knowing at all. He's a guy I talked to a lot and it sucks.
