| Topic | serious: how do you know when it's time to put a pet down? |
| Romulox28 01/23/21 8:23:06 PM #1: | my cat has been suffering from heart disease for the last 8 or 9 months and took what appears to be a turn for the worse yesterday, so right now we are discussing whether to bring him into the emergency vet tomorrow (where they will prob recommend he is put down) or leave him home and continue to observe his condition. his quality of life has definitely taken a massive hit but we still see a little life in him. this is the first pet that's ever been "mine" in the sense that I have to make the big decisions so I am kind of at a loss of what to do. for your own pets, how did you know when it's time to put them down? --- ...
