But truthfully, if she were really falling for you, she'd probably want to confide in you about stuff she's having a hard time with, and use you to have a sense of security and relaxation. Not push you away like she doesn't want to deal with you on top of everything.

With all that in mind, I'd say no, don't check in. I would not invest too much, it doesn't seem she has a very high interest.
