My racist brother is disgusted and refuses to partake, but I'm like "fuck yeah one less day I get to be a bitch for a corporation". Funny how it works. they took away the day after thanksgiving and christmas eve for MLK and a floating holiday so we didn't really gain anything. Technically we gained a half a day because chirstmas eve was a half day, but they always switched it to a full day as a "thank you" i never use all my pto anyway and even after covid ends my department will probably be remote 3 days where i play video games and answer emails and occasionally have a meeting --- If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all https://mikelikesthis.net the blog no one asked for is back ...
