What he does is relay a story about post-Nazi Austria, and the amount of regret, and resulting drinking and abuse, that afflicted so many men who thought they were serving their country. He says that this attack at our capital is too much in line with the events that had happened leading up to the takeover of Germany and Austria before WWII, and that we should all do better so we don't have to relive what his father and neighbors had. --- ...
