Topic	So why would someone be against free healthcare and free college

If you dont have private insurance, you get Medicare like insurance with payroll deductions. And a tiny (say 1%) flat payroll tax on everyone. My problem with free college is I dont think modern universities try to contain costs at all. Get rid of all the administrative staff, the bajillion sports that every student has to pay for, the arenas, etc. get down to $5k and Id say its in the public interest then. Alternative, Id be interested in subsidizing STEM, medical, teaching.
