Topic	trying to jump my car with a portable car starter...but there's no power button

I did read but I'm also kind of a dumbass so I need to ask the professionals to make sure I get things right. Apparently this shit is dangerous. I've been zapped a good number of times, and even minorly welded a 10mm wrench to a car frame by accidentally sparking the battery.
